Hi Adventure Philanthropists, This week I launched my Adventure Philanthropist: Great Adventures Volunteering Abroad book tour in San Francisco and I’m having a whole lotta fun getting out speaking with people about how to expand our world through philanthropy. I’m also selling a whole lotta books = yay! Want one too? Here’s how:
Not convinced you want this fabulously engaging piece of storytelling? Watch my video introduction to the book: Erin Introduces her Book And now for the articles this week: New: Anti-Rape Panties? Noooooo! “Rape-resistant” panties are a dangerous idea that perpetuates the stereotypes of why women are raped. Here’re the reasons why I’m rejecting the fallacy of anti-rape wear and choosing instead to go commando! (And watch my self-defense video where I kick some serious ass…) Favorite: Tigers – Oh My! + Video During my two-year trek, we went on a tiger safari in India’s Ranthambore National Park. It was a cold, foggy morning and we didn’t expect to see any tigers about – but then we did! At first, we didn’t realize just how lucky we were, but it was an amazing sighting! Watch the videos and view these fabulous pics! Photo of the Week: Stinger Suit, Whitsunday Islands, Australia When I last visited Australia at the start of my worldwide trek, I was lucky enough to visit the Whitsunday Islands, a beautiful hideaway with white sand beaches, clear blue water, and deadly box jellyfish. To swim here one needs to don a “stinger suit” for protection. Here I am in mine… Want more Go Erin Go? Visit:
Special shout out to Kasia in Sydney for reaching out to me with some great ideas on speaking venues in that city. Any ideas on where I should go in your hometown? Write me at Erin@GoErinGo.com and I’ll answer! See you on the road, Erin |
