Hi Adventure Philanthropists, This month I’m squirreling myself away in a small cottage in Sonoma, the famous wine-growing region just north of San Francisco. Photo of the Week > Ger, Mongolia Here’s my ger, a traditional Mongolian dwelling, sometimes referred to as a yurt. This was my abode when stopping off at Mongolia’s capital of Ulaanbaatar during my Trans-Siberian train trip. It was fancy inside, with a wood burning stove and electric lights.
