Favorite > Postcard from San Francisco I have several friends visiting me in San Francisco next month and for some it will be their first time in this mesmerizing city. Pondering where I’d take them sightseeing got me thinking about this piece I wrote last year about my 7 favorite haunts. Did I miss any not-to-be-missed spots?!
Photo of the Week > Glorious Gorilla, Uganda I fell in love with gorillas in Bwindi National Park in Uganda. I went specifically to see them up close in their natural habitat and I wasn’t disappointed. Their humanity and the emotion on their faces was heart-stopping. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
