Hi Adventure Philanthropists, Happy First day of fall amigos! Hope you got to get outside and enjoy the advent of autumn. Here in San Francisco, we’re having our Indian summer, which means weekend hanging at the beach! Speaking Tour > So super psyched that my REI Roadshow has been extended to include 3 more stops in northern California: Berkeley, Santa Rosa & Sacramento! Last Saturday was the 30th Annual International Coastal Clean-Up Day—the world’s largest volunteer effort to clean up our oceans and waterways. An astounding 648,015 volunteers in 92 countries picked up more than 12.3 million pounds of trash along nearly 13,000 miles of coastline. Here’s the list of Top 10 countries participating: Favorite > MESSAGE: Orkney Islands *Video* With a nod to the Scottish vote for Independence this past week (nays have it!), I thought I’d highlight one of my favorite bits of Scotland -- The Orkney Islands! These little gems of the North Sea are a well-kept secret, so I consider myself lucky to have visited.
