For me, the top 10 spots on my Bucket List are especially enticing since I was planning to go to these places during my two-year journey, but I didn’t make it. These are the places I missed on my trip and why:

A highlight of my trip to Sri Lanka was a day-trip to Kosgoda Hatchery, where they buy turtle eggs at the local market and re-bury them in the sand. After weeks of incubation, the hatchlings are released and the race for the sea as the sun sets.
