With the New Year, I am off and running! Leaving my sweet boat abode behind, I had a frightfully chilly 3-day stopover in NYC, before heading to the warm waters of the Caribbean. Excited to ditch the snow and boots in favor of sand and slippers!

This snap was taken during a short hike to reach a waterfall and swimming hole at the northern bit of Queensland in Daintree National Park. This protected wilderness is one of the oldest rainforests in the world and jealously guarded by the mighty cassowary and crocs.
