Australia’s Outback: A Photo Essay
As a girl who likes wide open spaces, I knew visiting Australia’s Outback would be a highlight for me – and I was right! Uluṟu (Ayres Rock) was undoubtedly cool, but nothing beat the never-ending expanse of the Oz desert landscape. Heaven!
As it turns out, my trip though the “Red Center” as it’s called, wasn’t all that red. The massive floods, cyclones and rain that Australia has been suffering, turned the desert was green — the greenest it’s been for 30-40 years!
Here’re some shots from the great Oz Outback – enjoy!
