Filipino Nipa Huts: *Video* – LivingMini®

waters_outside_barracuda_lakeFilipino nipa huts, called bahay kubo in Tagalog, are native dwellings made from bamboo.
The walls are woven and the roofs are thatched with nipa leaves. Most are built on stilts and are accessed from long bamboo gangways creeping out from the shoreline.

Check out this video if you want to learn how to build a nipa hut.
