GoErinGo in the Media: May – June

Hi Adventure Philanthropists!

As y’all know, I’m a regular contributor to the online travel magazine Travelated.com. Since these articles aren’t posted on my www.GoErinGo.com web site, I thought I’d share 3 articles I wrote for them in the past month.

June 12, 2011 – “36 Hours in Abu Dhabi”

Last week I spent 36 hours and about $834 in Abu Dhabi. I had to leave after a day and a half – I couldn’t afford to stay any longer! Since I knew I was there for only a short time, and because I didn’t necessary think I’d be back, I had to make the most of my brief visit.

Here are my three recommended activities during a flash visit to Abu Dhabi. Read More.

June 5, 2011 – “Navigating the French Open”

I just attended this year’s Round of 16 and got to see both Monfils and Murray play = fun!

Here’s my take on the tennis tournament from the perspective of “All Things French:” French food, French style, French language, and French cleaning. Read More.

May 18, 2011 – “Hiking with the Hmong”

A highlight of my recent time in Vietnam was a little side trip I took to Sapa, in the northwest region of the country. Sapa is known as an area that is home to many of Vietnam’s ethnic tribes – especially the Hmong and the Red Dzao.

I took a 3-day trek with a local Hmong guide named Yia. Yia taught me a lot in the 3 days I was with her: How to make luck, how to make dinner, and how to make clothes. Read More.

Feel free to share these articles with your friends!

See y’all on the road!   Erin
