Inji & Erin Coming to West Africa! – Giving U™
Adventure Philanthropists on the Move!
Inji is a great friend of mine. We met about 2 years ago while I was volunteering in the Egyptian office of the nonprofit organization Ashoka.
Since then, Inji and I have kept in touch (mostly Facebook and one very short day-tour of San Francisco). And then about 1 month ago, Inji asked if I would come to work with one of her clients in Lebanon: Biladi, a fabulous nonprofit working to preserve and promote Beirut’s heritage.
Here’s what Biladi founder Joanne Farchakh Bajjaly said about us:
“Inji & Erin have the right combination of skills and work so well together. They helped us in setting strategies for Biladi’s growth and expansion and changed the way we perceived challenges.”
Next Stop: West Africa
Inji and I had such a great time working together (and touring) Lebanon, we decided to take our tag-team Adventure Philanthropist act on the road. Our next stops:
- Ethiopia: July 19 – July 24
- Senegal: July 26 – August 3
Adventure Philanthropist Pact
As seasoned fundraising and business development consultants, we provide nonprofit organizations with *pro bono* one-on-one consulting and workshops in the areas of:
- Fundraising
- National and international expansion
- Organizational restructuring
- Income generating activities and financial sustainability
We also pay our own way to the country, including visas.
In return, we ask our host organization to provide:
- Budget accommodation (4 days for 2 full days of consultancy)
- Tours of your city and travel advice
Sub-Saharan African Expansion
Know a worthy nonprofit in West Africa that can use some pro bono consulting? Please send them our way, as we’re in the process of selecting our next clients. Contact us at: inji.elabd@gmail.com.
After Senegal, I’ll be continuing my travels via my Erin Goes Global living & giving adventure, and will be volunteering throughout Africa until November.
So if you’re based in Ghana, or Mozambique or Madagascar – write me at Erin@GoErinGo.com and we’ll see if I can swing by!
