I truly believe that the internet and education are
the two great equalizers in life.
Nelson Mandela, Nobel Peace Prize Winner
Well said. Now, join me in working toward Nelson Mandela’s sentiment. Vote for one of the three organizations below and I’ll donate $250. Together let’s help educate and connect the children of the Arab Region!
Egypt: Technology for Education Fund
The Technology for Education Fund provides computers and Internet access to students. The Fund helps support the training of teachers on effectively using technology to improve the quality of education. Donations will also go to schools to pay for internet connectivity and to purchase, install, support, and maintain laptop computers. More information on Technology for Education Fund
Morocco: Library for 5,000 Moroccan Berbers
This project provides four remote Moroccan villages in the Zawiya Ahansal region of the Central High Atlas Mountains with library access in this remote region. Donations will pay for subscriptions to newspapers, magazines, and resource books, purchase library tables and chairs, and help pay librarian salaries. Pan-Arab Region: Arab Digital Expression Foundation
The Arab Digital Expression Foundation hosts summer camps for youth from throughout the Arab Region. The camps foster students’ self expression, critical thinking and confidence by teaching them digital arts, such as video production, graphic design, and sound mixing. Young people become producers of technology, rather than passive consumers.
