Let’s Support Cambodia’s Women & Girls! – Giving U™

This poll is now closed. Thank you Adventure Philanthropists for voting to donate $250 to help provide 2 months of therapy for 4 girls who have been rescued from trafficking! 

By mid-March I should be in launching my Indo-Chinese travels – so this month let’s celebrate by choosing a fabulous Cambodian cause to support!

Our March donation of $250 will go to fund:

• The purchase of bikes and repairs kits for 3 girls! Lotus Pedals provides heavy-terrain bicycles to hundreds of at-risk and exploited Cambodian girls who would not otherwise be able to traverse the considerable distance to the nearest schoolhouse.

• 2 months of counseling support for 4 girls rescued from trafficking! Hagar Cambodia provides quality aftercare to girls who have been subjected to sex trafficking and other forms of sexual abuse and exploitation in Cambodia.
• 1,000 meals for HIV+ women participating in vocational training! These funds will go to train women to sew, teaching them basic business skills, and provide interest-free microloans, helping to combat the economic hardships that HIV imposes on women and their families in rural Cambodia.
