Nano Erin

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASo my fascination with all things tiny continues. If possible, I may be becoming even more obsessed with downsizing my belongings. But since I live entirely within 3 bins, I can’t really do away with any more stuff. So now I’m concentrating on miniaturizing the stuff that I already have.

So as I packed for my cross-country trip, I took the opportunity to purchase a couple of much-coveted miniature items, including:

North Face ThermoBall Jacket (price $130 on sale)

Not only will is this high-performance piece keep me dry and warm, it’s also ultralight—and most importantly—packs into its own pocket. Yep – so super cool!

Here’s the jacket in its original form, then packed pocket-sized (size shown compared to a dollar bill):

BaBliss ProTT Hair Dryer (price $40, found at beauty-supply stores)

This little dynamo has 1500 horsepower and says it’s “Tourmaline Titanium.” I’m not sure what this means exactly, but it is bad-ass. Just ask my friend Cherie, who I’m attending a conference with in LA. She is now lusting after this mighty hair tool too!

Check out this bad-boy (size shown compared to a dollar bill):

Sierra Designs Windbreaker

These two new additions compliment the compact windbreaker I already had. This cheery chartreuse number is not only a light-weight jacket, but also comes with its own stuff sack. I carry this puppy around with me everywhere since it’s simple to pop into my backpack or purse.

Here’s the windbreaker for you to lust over (size shown compared to a dollar bill):

Nano Erin

As I was talking with my friend Marla, she acknowledged that my LivingMini lifestyle is fully registering with others. In fact, she says she refers to me as “Nano Erin.” I like it!

So feel free to call me by my new name any ‘ole time. I promise I’ll answer!

Note: I’m not sponsored by North Face or Sierra Designs or BaBliss – but I’d like to be!
